Boots to sell Viagra without prescription

Boots will sell the impotence drug, made be Pfizer, in three of its Manchester stores from Valentine’s Day, for a trial period of six months. If the trial is successful, Boots said it will make Viagra available over the counter in other stores.

The pharmacy store chain said for men to be able to purchase Viagra from Boots stores, they will have to provide their medical history and have blood pressure tests and glucose and cholesterol levels measured. The drug is only available for men aged between 30 and 65.

Boots added that men will not be able to obtain Viagra repeatedly without a prescription and that they will have to see a doctor.
