Prior to joining Zafgen, Mr Jaffe served as CFO in a number of private, venture-backed life science organizations, most recently with Alantos Pharmaceuticals.
Mr Jaffe holds a MS in molecular biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, and a BS in chemistry from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela.
