The terms of the letter of intent (LOI) include digiMedical reselling its proprietary Microsoft-based digiRX and digiReauth services in Guardian’s existing markets and driving prescription traffic to Guardian’s local, company-owned pharmacies. In return, digiMedical will receive a portion of sales from prescriptions that are fulfilled in Guardian pharmacies located throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
Additionally, digiMedical will market Guardian’s services to its existing network of physicians in the Dallas, Texas, Naples, Florida and Ft Myers, Florida markets.
The companies also plan to partner as digiMedical explores the prescription compounding market with an emphasis on the growing veterinary sector. Prescription compounding services, which Guardian currently offers, provide more options to physicians for custom prescriptions that are not commercially available.
