Ludesi launches new Redfin Solo image analysis software

Besides enabling a fast and reliable analysis of 2D gel images, the new software called Redfin Solo allows researchers to decide which analyses are worth paying for based on the quality of the results they were able to achieve, the company said.

The company also said that this new concept of ‘pay only if you’re happy’ combined with its pay-per-gel system ensures that researchers are able to access the highest quality tools whilst retaining complete flexibility to tailor their costs to the minimum amount necessary.

Redfin Solo comes as standard with the freely downloadable Redfin software and for only $30 per gel is offered as a third analysis solution alongside the Ludesi Basic and Pro analysis services.

Ola Forsstrom-Olsson, CEO of Ludesi, said: “Tight budgets and limited research grants are a reality for many research labs, however the need for powerful analytical software tools has been increasing. We have succeeded in creating a tool that completely side-steps this potential conflict. Whilst being absolutely low-cost it is highly competitive with current software.”
