Lundbeck names new CEO

Ulf Wiinberg will be leaving the US pharmaceutical company Wyeth, where he has been responsible for two areas – Strategic oversight of Wyeth’s biopharma activities and as president of Wyeth Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada.

Per Wold-Olsen, chairman of Lundbeck’s supervisory board, said: “Ulf Wiinberg is uniquely qualified to handle the challenges that Lundbeck faces in the short term, and with his broad experience he can contribute to meeting the strategic challenges that we face in the long term.”
