According to the company, the Loma Linda clinic features 24 dialysis treatment stations and a home dialysis program supporting peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis. It also features DirectTouch, a modern touch-screen media system at each station for patient use during treatments, and Chairside, an online charting system with touch-screen monitors at dialysis stations for clinical staff to accurately enter and securely track critical patient information.
In addition to in-center daytime hemodialysis services, Fresenius Medical Care Loma Linda offers home dialysis. Other dialysis patient services include a kidney transplant support program, anemia management, nutrition counseling, bone disease management and social worker support.
Alfred Cottrell, medical director of Fresenius Medical Care, said: “At this new Fresenius facility, patients will benefit from the latest treatment methods while receiving excellent care from our dedicated team. Dialysis patients spend many hours receiving treatment each week, so we are pleased to offer this level of care in a more convenient location for people in the San Bernardino area.”
