Mr Phillips has served as a member of the company’s board of directors since 2000, and was the chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee and a member of the audit committee.
In connection with his joining the executive management team of Micromet, Mr Phillips has resigned from the board and the committees he served on.
Over the last 10 years, Mr Phillips has held board positions for a number of public and private life sciences companies and currently serves as a director of Acorda Therapeutics, a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company. Mr Phillips received a BA in economics from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
