The company has also reported net sales of JPY203,729 million, a decrease of 12.9%, compared with JPY235,542 million reported in the corresponding period of 2007.
Daiichi Sankyo expects to record net sales of JPY400,000 million in the first half of fiscal 2008 and JPY840,000 million for the full year of fiscal 2008.
The company also expects to earn a net income of JPY30,000 million in the first half of fiscal 2008 and JPY80,000 million for the full year of fiscal 2008.
