With the growth of the company and the range of target opportunities for NovaBay’s product candidates, the company said that its board has decided to separate the roles of CFO from that of senior vice president for corporate and business development.
Mr Paulson brings with him more than 35 years of financial and managerial experience, including working with publicly traded biotechnology and healthcare companies as well as for divisions of major healthcare corporations. Additionally, Mr Paulson has been a management consultant to several biotechnology and technology companies. Mr Paulson’s experience includes CFO positions at Avigen and Neurogen Corporation as well as financial positions at Ciba-Corning Diagnostics, Quidel Corporation and Abbott Laboratories.
