Kjaya wins FDA clearance for distribution and visualization solution

According to the company, VoXcell enables physicians to stream 2D axial slices and 3D reconstructions to any basic desktop or mobile PC that can access a cable, DSL, or cellular broadband Internet connection. This revolution in image distribution and viewing is said to enable on-demand diagnostics.

Donald Liu, surgeon-in-chief at University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, said: “I am expressing my highest level of enthusiasm for Kjaya Medical’s product. It is of great clinical relevance because of its ability to view diagnostic quality medical images over the Internet. Accessing pediatric images ubiquitously is a challenge today, I know this first-hand as a pediatric surgeon covering six different hospitals.”
