The company’s senior executive Landgraf has recently presented a data to that extent at the China International Food Safety & Quality Conference 2012.
The plant, which is expected to be operational in 2013, will manufacture nutritional products aiming to serve both infants and elders in the Chinese market.
Upon completion, the plant will be Abbott’s first fully integrated spray drying, blending and packaging facility in China, according to ChinaRetailNews.
