As per the agreement American Nano and Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS will create a new ultra fne chemistry research center, which is expected to concentrate on developing improvements to Micro-Nano Silicon and expanding the use of Micro-Nano Silicon in various industrial fields.
In particular, the research center will seek to broaden the application of Micro-Nano Silicon ultra fine structured chemicals in the creation of environmentally friendly chemical products.
The 10-year cooperative agreement will provides that all research will be conducted on site at the American Nano’s facilities. Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, American Nano is expected to provide RMB500,000 in first year and available laboratory instruments and equipment.
Additionally, the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS will provide personnel to develop materials and technology that will improve the efficiency of the application of ultra fine chemicals.
Furthermore, American Nano will have an exclusive option and right of first refusal to obtain a royalty-bearing license on commercially reasonable terms to the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS’s ownership interest in certain intellectual property resulting from the research center’s activities.
