AMP completes Californian high volume vial filling line

AMP said that the new high volume vial filling line is a 8 head Conquest line with a capacity of 150,000 vials per shift and is supported by an inline vial washer, depyrogenation tunnel and 12 spindle capper.

Additionally, the line supports nitrogen purge or blanket and vial sizes ranging from 2ml to 150ml.

AMP president and CEO Juan Valdes said that they were excited to announce the completion of a high volume vial filling line located at their 54,000 sqft filling facility in Irvine California.

“The addition of this line further extends our ability to provide a complete range of developmental, clinical and commercial contract manufacturing services to large and small organisations.”

AMP specializes in difficult to manufacture formulations that include solutions, suspensions, emulsions, sterile ointments and gels with the capability to fill an array of container closures including vials, dropper tip bottles, screw cap bottles, cartridges and squeeze tubes.
