Arrayit said that Todd Martinsky, founder and executive vice president of the company has coordinated with representatives from ChemBio, the company’s distributor in Moscow for the installation.
Arrayit’s patented manufacturing technology empowers customers to fabricate microarrays, glass chips that contain nearly invisible spots of genes and proteins from the human body.
Microarrays are used to identify variations in the genetic blueprint that correlate with human disease and to diagnose infectious disease, cancer and other illnesses by detecting minute quantities of biomarkers present in human serum.
Arrayit claimed that its VIP microarrays allow testing of up to 100,000 patients on a single device as a means of delivering cost-effective healthcare information to millions of people.
