Aspen Technology (Aspen) has released its aspenONE V7 software in nine new languages – Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
The company said that by expanding aspenOne to more local languages, it is possible for companies to train employees faster, helping create a larger skilled workforce in the face of shortages in experienced engineers and technical staff.
Additionally, it also allows companies to replicate process optimisation best practices more easily across multi-site, global organisations. The company also said that it simplifies installation of aspenOne software on localised Microsoft operating systems.
Manolis Kotzabasakis, senior vice president of sales and strategy at Aspen, said: “For years, AspenTech customers around the world have used aspenONE software to optimise plant designs and improve manufacturing and supply chain operations.
“Today, with continued rapid growth in many non English-speaking markets, customers must be able to develop a new generation of skilled engineers and operators quickly. aspenOne in more local languages makes this possible.”
