BTS said that customers thus now benefit from Asian network that is managed from the BTS regional headquarters in Shanghai. The new Southeast Asia office will be headed by Olaf Stange, who had successfully directed the business of BTS subsidiary Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS since 2004. He will be succeeded by Joachim Heck.
Achim Noack, managing director of BTS, said: “Serving our customers locally is part of the growth strategy of BTS. The presence of the regional office in Singapore now enables us to also offer tailored solutions for our customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in Southeast Asia.”
Additionally, these services affect all phases of a capital investment project, technology solutions such as microreaction technology, and also optimisation methods and tools for improving energy efficiency or the supply chain, for example. Noack added that additional branch offices are scheduled to open this year in Brazil and Russia.
