In this new role, Mr Marver will report to John Hinson, president and CEO of Cardiac Science, and will manage the daily operations of the company.
Mr Marver brings to Cardiac Science significant medical device experience from his 14 years at Medtronic, where he held a number of senior leadership positions with large businesses including cardiac rhythm management, cardiac surgery, and diabetes. His roles at Medtronic included vice president of strategy and business development, vice president of sales, vice president of marketing, and vice president of product strategy.
Mr Hinson said: “We created the COO position to build our strategic capabilities at a senior level. Dave impressed us with his strategic insight and global perspective as well as his broad operations and sales management experience. We are delighted to welcome him to Cardiac Science.”
