Carefx has announced the availability of eReferral, a portal-based referral management solution that enables hospitals, IDNs and HIEs to establish a streamlined, patient-centric and accountable process for tracking referrals. The eReferral solution enhances collaboration among physicians and patients and boosts revenues at a time of declining reimbursement, claims the company.
Part of Carefx’s Fusionfx suite of workflow solutions, eReferral is expected to transform the paper-shuffling referral process into a disciplined workflow. It would facilitate and standardize collaboration, improve patient care quality and safety and increase referral volume and revenues, said the company.
