The Siberian Ginseng (Acanthopanax) Polysaccharide is extracted from the stem of Siberian Ginseng by proprietary extraction technology separating and extracting effective parts of the Siberian Ginseng.
The powder has immunogenic and antitumor properties and can be used in making Siberian Ginseng Polysaccharide Extract Powder tablets and capsules.
China Botanic chairman and CEO Shaoming Li said the Acanthopanax Polysaccharide Extract Powder technology would help enforce their position in the market.
"We are confident in our ability to deliver high-quality Extract Powder products and are excited about the market opportunity in this category," Shaoming Li added.
The company is likely to introduce its Extract Powder products in the market in 2012.
