Clontech chooses SnapGene software

Clontech researchers, who have participated in SnapGene beta testing, have also assisted SnapGene’s developers on the interface and functionality, which includes SnapGene’s ability to simulate Clontech’s In-Fusion cloning.

Clontech research and development vice president Andrew Farmer said, "Our research scientists embraced SnapGene because of its beautiful and intuitive interface. We are now able to clone more accurately and efficiently."

SnapGene helps to design In-Fusion cloning procedures, which is a method to create gene fusions, according to GSL Biotech.

GSL Biotech product management vice president Aline Glick said, "I am thrilled to count Clontech among our customers, and to see Clontech endorse SnapGene as the software partner for their In-Fusion cloning kits."
