GTx names new executive director of medical affairs and clinical development

Dr Brawer will assist GTx chief medical officer Ronald Morton, Jr, and vice president of medical affairs Shontelle Dodson in educating the medical community about disease states of interest to GTx and will also participate in the development and execution of clinical research.

Dr Brawer joins GTx from Tokai Pharmaceuticals, where he served as chief medical officer since 2008. From 2006-2007, Dr Brawer was interim chief medical officer at Threshold Pharmaceuticals.
