Mr Wolcott most recently served as president and COO of Dimicron, a medical company utilizing synthetic diamond for orthopedic applications, and previously as COO and director of Rubicon Medical, a vascular medical device company.
BSD also announced that Hyrum Mead will retire as president and director of the company.
Mr Mead said: “I am pleased now to hand the torch over to Mr Wolcott whose broad experience in the medical device industry can lead the company into this exciting new world market.”
