Dow has announced that it has launched a new business and innovation hub in the Asia Pacific region, the Shanghai Dow Center. Occupying more than 100,000 square meters, the Center is comprised of a state-of-the-art research and development facility and Dow’s regional headquarters for its businesses and functions.
The Shanghai Dow Center is powered by an R&D engine that will include over 500 engineers and scientists working in more than 80 labs will develop solutions for the construction, transportation, energy, water, electronics, and personal care industries – all of which are essential to the improvement of people’s lives in Asia Pacific and around the world.
The Center will bring together under one roof corporate R&D expertise with its market-focused application development capabilities – an integration that delivers products and solutions that cut across markets, technologies and molecules.
