Barts and London Trust, which consists of three hospitals; St Bartholomew’s (Barts) in the City, The Royal London in Whitechapel and The London Chest in Bethnal Green, has chosen Ultimate labelling system for ensuring patient safety in the administration of drug dispensing.
The solution is expected to help the Pharmacy manufacturing Unit in developing barcoding and color labelling and will also improve the quality of labelling, in terms of clearness and colour.
Royal London Hospital pharmacy manufacturing head Jasdeep Singh said they are looking to improve systems and efficiency to support their future developments and drive new innovations forward.
