The State of Mississippi and Catalyst Rx entered into a four-year agreement, effective January 1, 2006, that included an option to extend the contract for a fifth year, which the state elected to exercise.
The newly extended contract is active through December 31, 2010, and covers approximately 190,000 active and retired employees, as well as their eligible dependents.
