According to Medical Nutrition USA, the product, which is an enhanced formulation of Pro-Stat AWC, is designed for patients in long-term care facilities with advanced wounds, primarily pressure ulcers.
Pro-Stat AWC with citrulline is believed to be the only wound care supplement with citrulline, an amino acid that safely and effectively increases Arginine levels to produce nitric oxide needed for wound healing.
