GEA Group Extends Tenure Of CEO

In the executive board Mr Oleas will be responsible for GEA Farm Technologies and GEA Heat Exchangers segments. He has been a member of the company’s executive board since May 1, 2001. He was appointed chairman of the executive board with effect as of November 1, 2004.

Dr Jurgen Heraeus, chairman of the supervisory board of GEA Group, said: “We are very much looking forward to continue the long-time and successful cooperation with Jürg Oleas.”

GEA Group is a system provider for food and energy processes with about EUR5.2bn in 2008 revenue, which is 70% of its total revenue. As an internationally operating technology group, the company focuses on process technology and components for demanding production processes in various end markets. The company’s workforce consisted over 20,000 employees worldwide as of September 30, 2009.
