Hayes Clinical Laboratory to provide MedLink iSuite EHR

The programme will enable the Hayes community of physicians across southern Florida, US, to achieve meaningful use compliance and qualify for federal incentive dollars of $44,000 to $63,750 per provider over the next five years.

Hayes will subsidise the cost of MedLink’s iSuite EHR up to 85%, to help physicians adopt a comprehensive clinical and financial EHR.

MedLink’s iSuite 4.0 EHR is designed to automate everyday clinical functions such as prescriptions, documenting patient visits, lab ordering, creating notes and tasks, and qualifies its users for meaningful use.

The iSuite EHR can be accessed securely from any PC or internet enabled device, significantly reducing the upfront hardware costs required for implementing traditional software based EHR systems.

Hayes Laboratory vice president Trent Hayes said the subsidies provided by Hayes enable much more than just EHR adoption financial assistance, but will serve to improve the quality and efficiency in patient care through interoperability and improved access to information.
