Heel launches new cold remedy

According to the company, the new Reboost product line includes four cold, cough and flu products under a single brand.

Heel CEO Cliff Clive was quoted by Drug Store News as saying that the company’s new products will help retailers better respond to increasing consumer interest in and demand for medicines with natural ingredients, including homeopathic products, which provide relief with rare side effects.

"As a trusted name in homeopathic medicines, Heel is committed to meeting the needs of both retailers and consumers by offering medicines with an impressive safety profile," Clive added.

The products launched under the new Reboost line are a nasal spray for the temporary relief of minor nasal symptoms, throat spray for the temporary relief of minor pain from sore throat and pain from canker sores.

Reboost line also includes tablets for the temporary relief of flu symptoms and cough syrup for cough and chest congestion relief.

The firm said the new line will replace its previous products such as Nectadyn, Sinusin and Vinceel.

Heel also said the Traumeel packaging is redesigned with a new vertical orientation, which helps to provide better shelf space for retailers.

The new packaging will also contain a new formula of Traumeel, which provides relief from ankle sprain pain that is equivalent to prescription-only diclofenac topical.

Heels new products will be available from September 2013.
