Under the terms of the partnership, Bend Research clients will have access to Hovione’s commercial-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and give Hovione clients access to Bend Research’s oral drug-delivery, formulation, and engineering expertise.
The collaboration will also enable technology transfer between the two companies, leveraging Bend’s clinical-trial-scale manufacturing facilities and scale-up and transfer expertise with Hovione’s capabilities including cGMP manufacturing facilities in the US, Ireland, Portugal, and China.
Bend Research CEO Rod Ray said through the collaboration Hovione will expand the range of manufacturing options available to their clients.
