Medipak Group chairman Dr Khalid J Chowdhry was quoted by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) as saying that the company produces nearly 150 million units of the life saving medicines annually, to quench the domestic demand.
The Pakistani pharma group got ‘the know how transfer and technical collaboration’ from Fresenius (Germany) for the manufacturing of IV Infusion Solutions.
Chowdhry further stated that the production of the medicine was initially started in 1985 in Pakistan.
During the period of serious illness or injury, the drug is used to establish the lifeline using which critical medications are infused into the human body.
