UPEI and AVRF under the collaboration have formed a new compound resulting in the chemical combination of 2 distinct nutraceuticals.
UPEI chairman Tarek Saleh said ongoing research suggests that this compound may reverse the inactivation of nitric oxide and may function as a powerful intravascular antioxidant.
AVRF executive director Bobby Khan said this grant will facilitate the continued collaboration between our institutions and the further development of this novel compound.
