Institute of Cancer Research installs Dotmatics data visualization tool

Vortex provides users with an out-of the-box filtering, charting, plotting and chemically aware calculations engine, enabling scientists to evaluate large datasets in an intuitive and flexible user interface.

The Institute of Cancer Research cancer therapeutics division deputy director and chemistry head Julian Blagg said after rigorous internal testing the center has selected Vortex because of its flexibility, ease of use and swift integration with its existing chemoinformatics data storage platform.

"It allows the visualisation of multidimensional datasets on compounds of interest to study trends, relationships and to discover outliers," Blagg added.

Dotmatics CEO Stephen Gallagher said the company has invested heavily in Vortex to guarantee that it continues to be the best data analysis and visualization tool for scientists across the world.

"We will continue to work with the ICR to ensure the development of our solutions matches their ever changing needs" Gallagher added.
