The company has posted a net income of $1.77m for the second quarter of 2011, compared to $6.32m for the same period in 2010.
Lotus’ income from operations were $1.79m, compared to $6.35m for the same period prior year.
For the six months ended 30 June 2011, the company reported total net revenues of $31.61m, compared to $33.66m for the same period in 2010.
Lotus has reported net income of $4.01m for the six months ended 30 June 2011, compared to $11.25m for the same period in 2010.
For the six months ended 30 June 2011, the company’s income from operations was $4.04m, compared to $11.25m for the same period prior year.
Lotus chairman and CEO Zhongyi Liu said the increase in the retail segment was driven primarily by over-the-counter division’s sales.
"Construction of our Beijing facility continues to progress, and we anticipate additional capacity for growth and significant efficiency improvements once we move into the new building by the end of the year," Liu said.
