Marco Ruo of Marchesini noted worth €1m, the packaging line will demonstrate the hardware and software that is required by pharmaceutical customers to comply with industry regulations for Track & Trace.
"The demo line will be installed onsite in Cork-based Crest Solutions, the provider for the market leading solution for Serialisation and Track & Trace in Ireland, UK and the Benelux," Ruo added.
12 months ago, Crest Solutions announced an exclusive partnership with Italian-based Antares Vision. Since that, Crest has been leading the charge in its key regions of Ireland, the UK and Benelux.
It has also experienced sustainable growth in each market as predicted, with 15 new positions in Cork in the past 12 months, a new office opened in Northamptonshire, UK and multiple new customers in the Benelux region as a result of the Antares Vision partnership.
The demo packaging line installation will allow pharma contacts in Ireland and surrounding markets to come on-site in Cork and train on a fully validated packaging line, preparing them for the requirements to achieve regulatory compliance on their own sites.
