As per the sales and marketing deal, Seyer Pharmatec will start promoting the product in January 2013.
Medicure president and COO Dawson Reimer said Seyer Pharmatec has a proven track record for marketing new pharmaceuticals in Puerto Rico.
"Their involvement will be a significant help in our effort to expand sales of AGGRASTAT," Reimer added.
All the regulatory and importation approvals necessary for the commercialization of the product within Puerto Rica were cleared.
