MedVantx completes expansion of home delivery platform

The company has also upgraded its systems to provide current good manufacturer practices (cGMP)-level quality in its home delivery pharmacy in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to prevent deviations, failures and errors.

Commenting on the milestone, MedVantx Pharmacy Services general manager Ron Bertsch said, "We have grown to become one of the largest independent home delivery pharmacies in the US and cGMPs define a level of quality typically only required of pharmaceutical manufacturers."

"MedVantx has also incorporated a Warehouse Management System to provide total segregation and accountability in the management of inventory," Bertsch added.

The company can now assure strong quality management systems, detect and investigate product quality deviations, as well as establish tough operating procedures by incorporating the more than 200 cGMP provisions.

MedVantx founder and CEO Robert Feeney said, "MedVantx is one of only 32 VIPPs accredited pharmacies in the US and our use of cGMP standards enables us to offer an even higher level of quality to our customers."
