Merge Healthcare claims its capabilities extend across all stages of clinical trials, international studies, and many clinical specialty trials.
In addition to the customizable myEDC platform, the Merge solution set for clinical trials includes applications for enterprise Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Interactive Voice and Web Response (IVR/IWR), electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) via internet, phone or handheld device, and an endpoint adjudication module.
North Carolina-based CRO Cato Research CEO Allen Cato said this month they took myEDC study live, and have already documented improvements in the quality and accessibility of data.
"myEDC allows us to quickly build the custom capabilities our Sponsors need and to provide a complete view of the information in real-time," Cato said.
Merge Healthcare CEO Jeff Surges said clinical trials need efficient electronic workflow via an intuitive interface, and broad interoperability among associated applications, and imaging is a particular challenge.
