The new facility is expected to have150,000 ft² of operational space for mechanical inspection, loaner kit processing, bone/tissue storage, packaging services and distribution.
The growing needs of customers have necessitated the expansion to the new facility, according to Millstone.
Millstone Medical Outsourcing chief executive officer Chris Ramsden said the additional operational space will allow the company to expand programs for existing customers and to bring on new customers.
”In addition, the new facility is strategically located near the distribution hubs of the area’s major carrier and continues to enableMillstone to provide extended service hours and expedited shipping,” Ramsden added.
”We are tremendously excited about all the possibilities the new facility will deliver for the company and our customers."
The expansion of Olive Branch is expected to be completed by the end of 2012 fourth quarter.
