Lexan Universal Precaution Stations are typically installed in all patient care areas, outside patient rooms, hospital hallways and intensive care areas. The stations neatly organize and make available an array of isolation supplies in one location.
Mandated lockable narcotic boxes are manufactured from the same Lexan polycarbonate material. These boxes have been used in the ER, OR, ICU and PACU areas, where multiple dosing of narcotics substances from one syringe or vial is necessary. These boxes provide safe and secure storage at bedside areas between individual doses.
Customers are able to choose from existing designs or design their own precaution stations to meet their needs, including different sizes, designs, colors, and material selection with no additional design or engineering costs, said the company.
Bing Carbone, president of Modern Plastics, said: “Modern Plastics manufactures and designs quality custom fabricated plastic items for the healthcare industry. Our hospital Universal Precaution Stations and Narcotic Lock Boxes are manufactured from tough, break-resistant Lexan polycarbonate sheet and are designed to hold up under the most extreme conditions.”
