Mount Sinai chooses Sapio’s Exemplar LIMS for Genomics Core Facility

The LIMS system tracks the multiple next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform workflows from request with the help of secondary analysis.

Sapio Sciences VP Kevin Cramer said, "We look forward to working with the Mount Sinai team to streamline their lab operations while tracking the complete NGS pipeline."

Mount Sinai Genomics Core Facility director Milind Mahajan said that the company selected Exemplar LIMS as it is modular in structure and configurable to expand and adapt with rapidly changing NGS and other genomic technologies.

"Exemplar supports our CLIA sequencing and cutting-edge biological research to develop multi-scale models of disease," Mahajan added.

Mount Sinai will also use Exemplar’s Materials Management capability for reagent usage tracking.

Sapio’s Exemplar LIMS software, which will be deployed on Apple iPads using Exemplar LIMS for Tablets solution, improves LIMS usability and lab technician efficiency.
