MeadWestvaco (MWV) has appointed Alejandro Cedeno as vice president of global innovation. In this new role, Mr Cedeno will be located at MWV’s Center for Packaging Innovation (CPI) in Raleigh, where he will oversee the CPI and will be responsible for implementing and managing an enhanced innovation process across MWV.
Previously, Mr Cedeno was involved in technology, product, process and packaging research and development, as well as brand management and new business development at Procter & Gamble. He worked in several of P&G’s businesses, including Beauty Care, Home Care, Fabric Care and has led product and package design efforts for global and regional brands.
