Nathealth introduces new cardiovascular health supplement

BergaMet MEGA, which contains bergamot dehydrated juice and ascorbic acid, is designed for targeting cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose and abdominal obesity, the major components of metabolic syndrome, also known as prediabetes .

Major research on the bergamot fruit extract, published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, has showed reductions in total cholesterol of 30%, LDL cholesterol of 38%, triglycerides of up to 40%, blood sugar of between 20 and 30%, while increases in the HDL cholesterol of up to 42%

Nathealth Solutions chief international medical advisor Ross Walker said the multiple properties of the bergamot fruit allow it to work at many levels in cardiovascular prevention.

"A recent study from Italy has also demonstrated a synergistic action with statins," Walker added.

The company said BergaMet MEGA is available to consumers and health care professionals in Australia, Europe and US.
