As part of the expansion, OCRC has expanded the existing PK unit to 10,000ft².
The unit’s redesigning and extension has added fully secured atrium to the facility.
OCRC founder Joel Neutel said the expansion has been taken up to make use of the research center’s space.
”After consulting with some of the largest pharma companies in the U.S. we had decided to redesign our OCRC PK Unit to allow for a larger, more comfortable area," Neutel added.
The OCRC PK unit has more than 50 beds for extended stays, a pharmacy, laboratory and private exam rooms.
Established in 2000, the OCRC PK Unit provides 24-hour monitoring services to patients involved in phase one clinical trials.
