Erin Ascher will be responsible for leading Omnicare’s human resources function, including designing and implementing strategies in the areas of attracting, retaining, developing and rewarding employees.
Before joining Omnicare, Ascher served as vice president of Human Resources for Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit management company based in Minneapolis.
Prior to that, Ascher was vice president of Human Resources with the International Sector for Ecolab.
Hopkins will be responsible for overseeing Omnicare’s pharmacy network contracting, administration and payor relations.
Before joining Omnicare, Hopkins served as vice president of PBM Operations and chief operating officer for Wellpoint NextRx, a former wholly owned subsidiary of WellPoint, where he managed mail service pharmacy, business development, supply chain management, client integration and Medicare business operations.
Prior to that, Hopkins held several other executive positions for Wellpoint, including vice president of Retail & Mail Service Operations for WellPoint NextRx and executive director of Retail, Mail Service and Specialty Pharmacy for Wellpoint.
