Parexel, National Taiwan University Hospital to jointly support clinical research in Taiwan

As per the deal, Parexel and NTUH will work together to offer drug development services required to advance clinical programs of biopharmaceutical firms in the region.

Parexel International clinical research services corporate senior vice president Joe Avellone said, "Partnering with National Taiwan University Hospital further enhances our ability to meet the increasing demand from our clients to provide a full scope of Phase I-IV clinical trials in a rapidly growing market."

National Taiwan University Hospital, a center of excellence for clinical trials in Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region, will support Parexel in delivering clinical development services.

Both the organisations believe that their association will make better competence for biopharmaceutical sponsors across the world.

National Taiwan University Hospital superintendent Ming-Fong Chen said, "This partnership will bring opportunities for both PAREXEL and NTUH to leverage our combined expertise in order to accelerate clinical development programs in Taiwan and meet patients’ need for more effective treatments."
