Paras Pharmaceuticals’ personal care business includes brands such as Recova, Setwet, Zatak, Borosoft, Livon, Moov, Krack, ItchGuard, RingGuard and Dermicool etc.
RB, which is keen to focus on Paras’ healthcare business, has asked JP Morgan to search a purchaser for the business, business-standard.com reported.
Reportedly, companies like Dabur India and Emami are interested in buying Paras.
So far, the value of the deal has not been disclosed.
RB had acquired the Ahmedabad-based Paras Pharma for INR 32.6bn (approximately $726m) in December 2010.
