Revolutions Medical Initiates Mass Manufacturing Of RevVac Safety Syringe

Revolutions Medical has initiated the mass manufacturing process for the FDA approved RevVac, an easy to use, single-handed vacuum safety syringe. By hitting its primary milestone, RevMed satisfies its previously announced commitment to begin production in Q4 ’09.

Richard Theriault, CTO of Revolutions Medical, said: “After years in safety syringe, we are extremely pleased to announce that the plan is now reality, we have launched the mass manufacturing process for the RevVac safety syringe. This constitutes the next step toward full scale high volume production and commercialisation.

“With this first phase we will provide market-ready samples and complete the steps necessary to ensure ultimate delivery of a high quality, high volume manufacturing solution. We have been working closely with the team at Goddard Technologies. We remain precisely on pace with our stated goals, and we can now demonstrate tangible progress toward bringing the much-anticipated RevVac to market in Q2 ’10.”

Andrew Goddard, president of Goddard Technologies, said: “We are pleased to be working with Revolutions Medical on the first phase of the RevVac Safety Syringe mass manufacturing process. The RevVac design is elegant as an easy to use, single-handed vacuum safety syringe. That we could contribute to a product of such high caliber is a source of great pride for Goddard Technologies.”
