Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical (Sinochem Quanzhou) has selected UNIPOL Polypropylene Process Technology for its new 200 KTA polypropylene facility. The plant will be built in Quanzhou, Fujian Province in the People’s Republic of China, and is expected to come on line in 2011.
This facility is said to be the sixth polypropylene plant in China to license UNIPOL Polypropylene Technology from Dow Basic Plastics. The facility will primarly produce homopolymers. Products will be marketed in China and abroad.
