The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) has announced the approval of five new companies for membership. The announcement was made on June 2 meeting of the SOCMA Board of Governors.
The new members, who are based in five different states and are involved in a variety of fields including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and security, represent the diversity and quality of SOCMA’s membership, said SOCMA.
New SOCMA members include, Raindance Technologies, Solvay Fluorides, Pharmacore, IEM and Siemens Building Technologies.
Joe Acker, President at SOCMA, said: “SOCMA is pleased to see its ranks continue to grow in 2009. These new members are strong additions to the organization and we look forward to their participation. As SOCMA continues to grow, I am confident we will continue to provide the best in business opportunities, advocacy and performance improvement to the batch, custom and specialty chemical industry.”
